Ask-A-Lawyer Day
FREE LEGAL CLINIC The Mecklenburg County Bar Young Lawyers Division will host a free walk-in legal clinic on Sat., Nov. 12, 2016. The clinic will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Main Public Library at 310 North Tryon Street. Individuals in the community will have an opportunity to ask experienced lawyers questions regarding various legal issues. Interested persons will meet with a lawyer on a first come first served basis. Volunteer lawyers from the Mecklenburg County Bar will provide general information about the law in North Carolina, distribute pamphlets on legal issues and direct individuals to various community resources.

Sing, dance, bounce and clap with your baby, and recite nursery rhymes. A librarian might also read a story now and then. Though focused on the youngest of the young, the program is open to kids of all ages and their families. Stay afterwards for bubbles, baby toys, and to mingle with other parents. No registration required.
